What Is Barre?

Barre is a low-impact, full-body workout derived from ballet, that blends in elements of Pilates and yoga to build strength, improve flexibility and enhance posture. It’s a fun, high-energy class that uses upbeat music to keep you motivated from start to finish.

You’ll perform controlled, high-rep movements that target muscles big and small. Each class will incorporate a different combination of bodyweight exercises, light handheld weights, resistance band, Pilates ball and sliders to challenge your muscles and get your heart rate up.

The focus of Barre is on building core strength, improving balance, and lengthening muscles, all while staying connected to your breath and movement. The best part? It’s suitable for all fitness levels. No matter where you are on your journey, each class can be tailored to support your needs and help you prepare for what’s next.

Meet Your Instructor

Hi! I’m Morgan.
I’ve been hooked on barre since my very first class in 2013. It’s the one workout I’ve consistently stuck with because I never get bored, and even 12 years later, I still find those shakes!

I’ve been an instructor since 2019 at a variety of in-person studios. Since I move every few years due to my partner’s military career, I decided to bring my classes online to stay connected with the amazing people I’ve met and to reach even more of you.

What I enjoy most about teaching is helping others find a fitness experience that leaves you feeling renewed instead of exhausted. I’m always learning so I can create inclusive, welcoming classes where you feel safe exploring movement in a way that feels good in your body.
